Emergency & Crisis Policy

My practice is a tele-health only outpatient therapy setting, and I am not available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Because all services are provided remotely, I may not be immediately aware of an emergency occurring in your location. In the event of a crisis, it is essential that you contact local emergency services in your area, as I am unable to dispatch help to your location.

If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, are in danger of harming yourself or others, or are in any other life-threatening situation, please take one of the following actions immediately:

• Call 911 or go to your nearest hospital emergency room

• Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — available 24/7) please note: You will hear an automated message with specific options.While your call is routed. You might hear brief hold music.

• If you are in the Greater Boston area:

  • ​BEST (Boston Emergency Services Team) at 1-800-981-HELP (4357). The team provides free, 24/7 emergency psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention, and referrals to people in the Boston area.

Non-Emergency Contact
If you are a current client and need to leave a non-emergency message, you may reach me at [phone number] or via the client portal. I make every effort to return calls within 24–48 hours during regular business days. Messages left on
weekends or holidays will be returned on the next business day.

Please do not use email or the contact form on this website to communicate urgent clinical matters, as these are not monitored continuously.

A Note for Out-of-State Clients
If you are located in a state different from where I am licensed, please ensure you have the local emergency contact numbers for your area saved and accessible at all times.
